Fading Perfume

I put on your promised eternity

Notes of happiness danced across the melody

Just like the waves in the deep blue ocean

Passionate but indefinite.

I sensed the hint of oriental woods

With unacquainted sweetness blended.

Words of charm seduced your moods

Just like the forbidden apples in the dark,

Tantalizing and captivating.

I get a notion from your muffled cologne

Wondering where did my traces go?

With the answers known.

Fragments of fragrances shattered,

Just like the mirage in the empty desert,

Lifeless and traceless.

I shall embrace the monochromatic waltz

And my beauty evaporates.
